Big fan. But currently, you can't deploy a simple HTML project, which is just baffling. Let me throw my `index.html` into the void!\n\nThere's an easy solution, though. Use Replit's `Shell` tool and run `npx surge`. You'll need to select a node version, and then set up an account with [Surge.sh](https://surge.sh) which will let you manage your deploys. Surge will assign you a random domain, but you can change it to whatever you want.\n\nYou can also run `echo your-domain.surge.sh > CNAME` to create a file at your project root that will tell Surge what domain to deploy under.","media":{},"series":{},"related":[{"title":"Pure Internet: NFC","href":"/posts/1731984900000-pure-internet-nfc","section":"posts","description":"HTML, CSS & minimal JS combined with NFC tech to create serverless web experiences.","publishedAt":"2024-11-18T10:55:00Z"},{"title":"Mint thyself","href":"/posts/1685948400001-mint-thyself","section":"posts","description":"A Zora HTML edition that embeds its own mint interface and can be minted from itself.","publishedAt":"2023-06-28T13:00:00Z"},{"title":"Post-UI","href":"/posts/1784126858578-post-ui","section":"posts","description":"Do we still need to ship a frontend?","publishedAt":"2026-07-15T17:27:00Z"},{"title":"Single-origin deployment with bhvr","href":"/posts/1747182886660-single-origin-deployment-with-bhvr","section":"posts","description":"Fried my Pi using a 10V solar panel without a buck converter.","publishedAt":"2025-05-13T17:34:00Z"},{"title":"Pure Internet: no-html","href":"/posts/1740682611811-pure-internet-no-html","section":"posts","description":"A plain Markdown file hosted on Bluesky's blob storage and rendered directly by the browser.","publishedAt":"2025-02-27T10:56:00Z"},{"title":"orbz dot com","href":"/posts/1736537615834-orbz-dot-com","section":"posts","description":"orbz.fun reads Orbiter's onchain site registry and turns it into a StumbleUpon-style discovery tool.","publishedAt":"2025-01-10T11:33:00Z"}],"prev":{"title":"Mint thyself","href":"/posts/1685948400001-mint-thyself"},"next":{"title":"Sourdough","href":"/posts/1587970800000-sourdough"}}}
