# Flatframe

Flatframe is a technique I started exploring shortly after becoming comfortable with flying my drone. It starts with a snippet of 4K footage.

For best results, keep the drone and its camera stationary, allowing the subject's motion to be captured within the frame. Waves crashing against the shore, grass swaying in the wind, or the bustling activity of a crowded plaza. Any scene with dynamic movement makes for an excellent Flatframe subject.

Through experimentation, I've found that clips ranging from 10 to 60 seconds tend to yield the most striking final images.
