Thinking about starting a spice company

This post was first published on and was last updated . It will take roughly 1 minute to read.

I’ve been making my own spice blends for a few years now. One of my favorites has always been a Montreal blend — but it can be hard to beat the classic 50-50.

They are both made in small batches here in my kitchen using coarsely ground fresh ingredients, and go nicely with pretty much anything you can cook on the grill.

A limited run might be available for purchase soon. I’m exploring Stripe’s Product Links as a possible solution, they’re easy to configure and Stripe is a trusted name in payments and ecommerce. There are a lot of hurdles to selling food products direct to consumer, so we’ll see what happens — for now enjoy the test flow, and feel free to provide feedback on Warpcast
